If you're referring to screen reader support for reading posts with bold/italic/etc., that is not up to us, but due to the screen reader's support of unicode. Some screen readers can definitely read these characters correctly. For example, Google's screen reader Chrome extension we were testing with.

If you're referring to something breaking within the editor when using a screen reader, please send us a support ticket with more details.

Allow more screen readers the ability to read formatted text.  
  
I've had complaints that whenever I format text, the screen reader spouts out nonsensical text.  
  
This isn't accessible to those who are visually impaired.
