AuthoredUp 6.4.2 - the extension now works with LinkedIn’s new web app

LinkedIn is migrating its web app to a new tech stack, which temporarily broke parts of AuthoredUp.

If you've experienced a missing AUP badge or “Create post” issues, LinkedIn has enrolled you as a test user of the new app. For more details, click here.

This update brings an initial fix - restoring the main functionalities:

  • AuthoredUp badge is visible on all pages. Your drafts and stats are here!
  • You can use AuthoredUp editor to write and publish your posts.

Some parts are still not fixed in this release:

  • “Start a post” from AuthoredUp doesn’t yet activate the blue compose mode. (tip: start your posts from LinkedIn)
  • Popups (scheduler/settings) can’t be closed by clicking the background yet
  • In rare cases, you might see the entire LinkedIn disappear while a popup is open 😨 (no worries! just close it, and it will fix itself)

THE GOOD NEWS:

Version 6.4.3 with full fixes is ready. 😌 We’re waiting for Chrome Web Store approval to roll it out.

If you notice additional issues, please let us know.

We’ll keep pushing updates until 100% of AuthoredUp is back to normal**.**

Thanks for your patience and trust, we’re on it 24/7 💪
