We rolled out a new version of AuthoredUp to support the official launch on the 14th of August 🚀

▶️ WHAT IS NEW?

During the free beta, all users had the same type of account.

From today, we are transitioning to 2 account types: INDIVIDUAL and BUSINESS.

▶️ WHO IS THE INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT FOR?

1. Consultants, coaches, business owners, solo founders, etc. Basically for anyone that is writing on LinkedIn for themselves. 🌟

▶️ WHO IS THE BUSINESS ACCOUNT FOR?

Marketing agencies, social media managers, and ghostwriters. So those who manage multiple client accounts on LinkedIn. 📅

Companies with multiple employees writing on LinkedIn (supporting social selling, employee advocacy, corporate influence activities etc.) 👥

▶️ ANY CHANGE IN THE USAGE?

Users that connected multiple LinkedIn profiles got the business beta license. They will see a new Organization tab in the Accounts section.

Anyone who wants to consolidate their teammates under one roof can now upgrade to a business account.

Other than that, nothing has changed.

▶️ WHAT IS COMING ON 14TH?

• Company page post reuse and content analytics
• Tracking of reposts
• 100+ new hooks and endings

We have fixed the problem where AuthoredUp would fail to load while certain antivirus programs are active on the system.

We hope this change might improve stability in general as well.

We have changed the way we search for mentions and hashtags in the post editor. If you had issues mentioning non-standard names or names with more than one word, upgrade to the new version and it should now work.

In this minor release, we have added a few new features:

• The table headers in posts and drafts tables are now fixed as you scroll down the page.
  
• We have added an option to save your draft as a new draft straight from the editor. This is handy if you want to try something out without ruining your current draft.
  
• You can now change your email straight from the app. We are working on account deletion as well.

We are aware of the problem that posts and drafts pages sometimes go blank. If that happens, reload the page and the data will be there. We are working on a real solution.

We have fixed the problem some users have experienced where AuthoredUp would crash after viewing certain posts. We are frankly still not 100% certain under which circumstances this data corruption can happen, so if you experience the issue again, please let us know.

We have also improved the way resharing and editing posts work. We now show correct title and no longer immediately close the post when you click cancel. We also show the link to the reshared post.
