AuthoredUp v2.3.5

After an internal LinkedIn change, AuthoredUp would get stuck trying to close the drawer when LinkedIn post was active (blue mode). This update fixes that problem.

Service announcement: backend outage

Due to a server issue, our backend wasn't operational over the last few hours.

The service should be fully restored now. If on LinkedIn, reload the page, and the extension should be operational.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

AuthoredUp v2.3.4

✅ We fixed the bug where you upload an image or schedule a post, and the entire content disappears.

This is a very tricky bug. We still aren't 100% sure it's completely fixed. If you notice further problems like this, please let us know, and we'll give it another look.

✅ You can now use consecutive spaces to "indent" your lines, or create a right-sided staircase, for example.

     So you can make
       posts
          like
            this
                                   and even           this! 😜

✅ Paste now works for hashtags with non-English characters, like German umlauts. Eg. you can now copy/paste this hashtag: #Präsentation.

The new version 2.1 is out

And it is built based on your feedback. 👎👍

Two weeks ago, we launched version 2.0 and immediately got a ton of feedback - what is good, what is needed, what needs improvements, etc.

These are the things we addressed:

"I want to save my own templates"

One of the most voted features is saving your content, so you can use it whenever you need.

So we added a new tab called "Snippets."

This is where you can keep your signatures, CTAs, templates, mentions, and whatever other "snippets" of text you want and reuse them across posts.

"I want to hide the AuthoredUp badge."

You can hide AuthoredUp, similar to how you can reposition it. Grab it from the left side, and push it right until it disappears.

You will notice a thin green line when you move your mouse around where the AuthoredUp badge is hidden. Grab it, and pull it left. It will reappear again.

And if you want to do it from the app, go to the account page and click hide.

"I don't know how to use the drafts"

We noticed a bit of confusion around how drafts get loaded when they are saved, and what's up with those green and blue modes?!

We get it.

AuthoredUp is a bit more complex than similar tools.

So, we made some changes to reflect this paradigm better:

▶️ The top of the editor will now always show your draft.
▶️ The bottom will always show the active LinkedIn post "underneath" AuthoredUp.
